Te Arai Surf Day!

Morning – Depart Auckland & Hit the Coast We leave Auckland in the morning and make our way north to Te Arai, one of the region’s most beautiful and beginner‑friendly surf beaches. The drive sets the tone for the day—relaxed, scenic, and full of anticipation. Late Morning – Surf Lesson at Te Arai Once we arrive, it’s time to get suited up and head onto the sand. Our qualified surf instructors lead a fun, supportive lesson tailored to all levels. Students learn the basics, build confidence in the water, and enjoy plenty of time catching waves in a safe, controlled environment. Lunch – Beachside Break After the session, we take a break for a well‑earned lunch. There’s time to relax, refuel, and enjoy the coastal views before the afternoon activities. Afternoon – Free Surf & Beach Time In the afternoon, students can continue practicing their skills in the water under supervision or enjoy some downtime on the beach. Whether it’s more waves, a swim, or simply chilling out on the sand, it’s the perfect way to make the most of Te Arai’s stunning coastline. Evening – Return to Auckland We wrap up the day and make our way back to Auckland, arriving with sandy feet, tired arms, and plenty of great memories from a classic Kiwi surf adventure.
