Sydney Long Weekend Adventure

Arrive in sunny Sydney mid-morning and head straight to our accommodation to drop bags and freshen up. Then we’ll stretch our legs with a guided city walk through the harbour precinct — take in the skyline, snap photos of the Opera House from different angles and get your first taste of Sydney’s buzz. Lunch at Circular Quay follows, before we hop aboard a short harbour cruise to see Sydney from the water: dramatic harbour scenery, waterfront mansions and the chance to spot seabirds and other wildlife. Our destination is Taronga Zoo, where you’ll meet Australia’s most famous animals — kangaroos, wombats and, yes, koalas (photo op guaranteed). Explore the exhibits, learn about conservation efforts, and enjoy close-up encounters that bring Aussie wildlife to life. Return to the city for dinner in the lively Haymarket precinct, where everyone can choose from a huge range of flavours.

Rise and shine — it’s beach day. Starting at Coogee, we tackle the famous Bondi to Coogee coastal walk: dramatic cliffs, rock pools and lookout points with chances to spot whales in season. Arriving at Bondi Beach for lunch, beach time and surf culture. After lunch we take a surf lesson with qualified instructors, try the tidal rock pools, or explore the cafes and shops. Capture the action with epic photos for your socials. Return to the city for a group dinner and a relaxed evening — perfect for recharging after a day of sun and surf.

Start the day with a guided tour inside the Sydney Opera House — discover its architecture, history and the stories behind world-class performances. Next, we’ll board a scenic harbour ferry to Manly Beach. Students can chill on the sand, play beach games or explore The Corso for shopping and snacks. We’ll cruise back into Sydney at sunset — camera ready for golden hour harbour views — then enjoy dinner at Darling Harbour, a buzzing waterfront precinct with great dining and evening entertainment.

Enjoy a relaxed final morning with a stroll through the harbour precinct and free time in the city. Visit The Rocks markets for souvenirs and handmade keepsakes, then take a stroll across the Sydney Harbour Bridge for 360-degree skyline panoramas. After a final group lunch, we’ll transfer to the airport and say farewell to Sydney. You’ll return home with new friends, a camera full of photos and stories you’ll be telling for years.
