Fiji Paradise Getaway

Touch down in sunny Nadi around lunchtime and step straight into island life. Our first stop is Denarau, Fiji’s iconic tourist hub, where we’ll grab lunch and shake off the travel vibes. From there, settle in for a chilled, scenic two‑hour bus ride down the Coral Coast — think palm trees, turquoise water, and villages dotted along the shoreline. When we arrive, you’ll check into our beachfront accommodation (yes, literally steps from the sand). Spend the afternoon exploring your new home base: crack open fresh coconuts, relax in the sun, or jump straight into the water for a snorkel. It’s the perfect chance to get to know your fellow travellers and ease into island time. After a buffet dinner cooked by our amazing in‑house chefs, we’ll wrap up the evening with a traditional Fijian welcome ceremony — bula vinaka to an unforgettable adventure.

After breakfast we head to Yanuca Island, a tiny community of around 200 people. Spend the morning exploring the inshore reef — colourful coral, tropical fish and powder-white sand. Don’t forget reef-safe sunscreen. Lunch is a village feast prepared by locals, followed by hammock time, beach volleyball, shell collecting or simply chatting with islanders to learn what life is like on a remote island. On the cruise back we’ll stop at the outer lagoon reef to see the dramatic drop-off to the open ocean — keep an eye out for turtles!

We’ll take a short drive to the Navua River, this is as far as the road goes though – we’re headed inland! Board a traditional longboat and head upriver through untouched rainforest. We’ll stop at spectacular waterfalls before arriving at Sabata Village — accessible only by boat — for a genuine glimpse of local life. After exploring Sabata Village and having a hearty riverside lunch, we swap boats for inflatable tubes and float down the rapids — fast, fun and full of laughs (try not to fall off!). In the evening, unwind with a traditional kava ceremony, learn about its cultural significance, join in the songs and celebrate your last full night in paradise.

Enjoy a relaxed morning with time for a final swim, reef check or pool play. Then we’ll visit a local souvenir shop stocked with handmade wares from surrounding villages. Don’t miss your last chance to pick up a piece of this special island – they also make beautiful gifts for friends and family back home! Next stop is Denarau Island for lunch. Denarau is Fiji’s tourist hub — think resorts, shops and beachfront promenades. We’ll make a quick visit to a colourful Hindu temple to acknowledge Fiji’s rich Indian heritage before transferring to Nadi Airport for your flight home.
